Buhweju Women and Children’s Rights Foundation (BWCRF) is a community-based organization committed to improving the lives of women and children in Buhweju District and beyond. We work to promote human rights, enhance access to essential services, and empower vulnerable communities through sustainable development initiatives.

Promoting income-generating activities, skills development, agriculture, poultry, livestock, and agro-based enterprises for women and vulnerable families.
Child Protection
Preventing child abuse, neglect, exploitation, and school dropout through community systems, awareness, and referrals.
Education Support
Improving access, attendance, and retention in schools, especially for vulnerable children and girls.
Gender-Based Violence Prevention
Addressing GBV, early marriage, and teenage pregnancy through community engagement and behavior change programs.
Rights Advocacy
